Andrea Jordan MA, LMHC

Andrea Jordan has been in the counseling field since 2009. She started her career at Open House Ministries providing counseling services to Vancouver’s homeless population. She graduated from George Fox University with a Master’s in Counseling in 2010. She started her own small practice in 2011 and joined Thrive Psychological Services in 2018.

Her niche passions in the counseling field include spiritual abuse recovery, marriage and family therapy, affair and pornography recovery, and working with younger 20 and 30-somethings as they navigate life in an increasingly complex world. She has worked with a wide variety of clients, but has had an unusually high number of clients who have come from the sex industry and/or with backgrounds of sexual abuse.

She’s been married to her husband, David, for 18 years and homeschools her four children. In her downtime she enjoys gardening, hiking, triathlon training and writing. She’s had some of her written work published professionally and hopes to develop this passion more in the future.

She also has a growing calling consulting with local church leadership on problems that arise in their congregations and staff, and has enjoyed public speaking in the local school and church settings on various topics pertaining to mental health, culture and the Gospel.
