Andrea Jordan MA, LMHC
Andrea Jordan has been in the counseling field since 2009. She began her career at Open House Ministries, providing support to Vancouver’s homeless population, and earned her Master’s in Counseling from George Fox University in 2010. She started her own practice in 2011 and joined Thrive Psychological Services in 2018.
Andrea’s counseling specialties include spiritual abuse recovery, marriage and family therapy, affair and pornography recovery, and guiding younger adults in their 20s and 30s through life’s complexities. She has worked with a diverse client base, including many from the sex industry and survivors of sexual abuse. She genuinely enjoys journeying with clients through life’s tangled paths, seeking the pearls of wisdom, resilience, and hope buried in what looks like meaningless mess (because it's never without a treasure of transformation of some kind).
Married to David for over 20 years, Andrea homeschools their four children. In her downtime, she enjoys browsing new music playlists with her teenagers, gardening, hiking, all things Tolkien and Star Wars, and writing—some of which has been published professionally. She also consults with local church leadership on congregational and staff challenges and has experience in podcasting and public speaking on topics related to mental health, sexuality, culture, and the Gospel.
