Jillian is a Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in autism and autism spectrum disorders. She graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA and then moved south to complete a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Portland State University.
Jillian has always had a passion for working with children, and focused her studies on pediatrics. Her past experience as a pediatric speech therapist at Legacy Salmon Creek Pediatric Rehab Center, serving children birth to 18 years old with a variety of developmental and acquired disorders and delays has enhanced her pediatric expertise. Jillian has a full time private practice at Thrive where she provides individual therapy, group therapy, and speech and language evaluations. She is also part of the evaluation team in the Thrive Autism Assessment Clinic. Family partnerships and collaboration are key to her work, as she believes that therapeutic gains rely on the foundation of trust and rapport with each child and their family. Above all, Jillian strives to make all sessions and interactions with her clients enjoyable. She enjoys playing on the floor, bubbles, being silly and making children laugh.
Jillian has her license in Washington State and is ASHA certified.
